Feel I can’t function properly after ultrasound

Hi,

I have had a submandibular I think it's called lump under my chin/jaw for coming up 2 years now, I had it scanned when it first appeared 2 years ago and had an ultrasound where they said it was a reactive lymph node and it's nothing to worry about.

a year later I went back because I sometimes feel pain and saw ent who basically looked at my previous ultrasound and said that it's nothing and it could remain swollen permanently as lymph nodes can do that following infection and not ever go.

fsst forward to this week I booked a private ultrasound because the lump is still there and can sometimes be painful so I was worried, I suffer with health anxiety anyway since losing my mum suddenly.

the man who carried out the ultrasound said he couldn't even see the lump on the ultrasound and that he doesn't think it's anything to worry about as my scan of the area looked normal.

what's worried me is that it's not showing up at all now on ultrasound which I don't understand?
has anyone been in a similar situation?

I am booking a private mri because I am just so worried about it as I have 2 young kids and my mum passed away young and I worry I will aswell ( I am 28 ) I feel as though I can't even function or eat properly etc.

had anyone else been in a similar situation? Sorry for the essay and thank you for any replies
