hello,
wondering if anyone has had a cystadencarcinoma which is a rare malignant cyst of the liver? There was a also a benign version.
about a month ago I had very, very sudden severe pain in my upper right abdomen. When the pain which was worse than home birth labour pains subsided a little I had a palpable lump like a fist just under my rib cage.
over the last months various scans support most likely to be a cystadencarcinoma which is too big to surgically remove now so will need chemotherapy .
I have had two attempted per cutaneous biopsies too but these have failed as the tissue taken has been too narcotic to sample. Which is gutting. Hospital is trying again using an endoscopy next week.
has anyone had any experience of these cysts? Which I believe are rare? How were you treated.
I did have an HPV base of tongue/tonsil cancer in 2018 but the hospital team feel this type of cancer doesn't usually spread but of course this might be instead a secondary cancer from my tongue.
thanks
