Hi there, 

I am so worried as I have been recalled for another appointment after a recent routine mammogram . I have no symptoms and no lumps etc so can only think they can see something suspicious.

I really can't face it all again. 14 years ago I had DCIS in my other breast and after many tests, biopsies and lumpectomies I ended up having a mastectomy on the right side. I also had the gene test as my mother died of breast cancer at 48. My results were negative so they wouldn't do a double mastectomy even though I wanted one as they said it was unnecessary. 
 

I can't believe I could have missed anything and now face the whole thing all over again with my left side especially as all those years ago I wanted them both gone anyway . 
 

I am so worried and scared all over again
