I had the same as well as my bowel movements were more frequent. Went to my gp and she referred me as I had 2 of the symptoms for bowel cancer, she toldn me it was highly unlikely to be nasty. I went for a colonoscopy and found internal piles and some diverticular disease which might make me bleed. He said he rarely sees young people with bowel cancer, though not impossible. You're doing the right thing going to your doc. I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. Keep a diary of when it happens too x

Just to update I went to the doctors this morning, after inspection the doctor found an external pile which is probably what's caused the bleeding so I've got a cream to try so for anyone else in a similar situation not always had news!
