IVF & Ovarian Cysts

Hi, 

My IVF journey has been delayed by the presence of 2 cysts on my left ovary. They have not dissipated in 3 months and and after several transvaginal ultrasounds, I'm being referred for a pelvic MRI.

Has anyone similar experience? The MRI is to determine if there is anything untoward present and of course I am fearing the worst, especially as the Mum of a little 2 year old

    I'm sorry to hear that your IVF journey has been delayed due to the presence of 2 cysts on your ovary. It's understandable that you may be feeling anxious about this. 

    Ovarian cysts are very common and often will resolve without any treatment. You can read more about this on the NHS website page here. 

    Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the MRI and the team will be able to give you some reassurance about the next steps.
