I'm sorry to hear you've started to experience some irregular symptoms and changes to your menstrual cycle Joey.
I know this must be worrying, especially when you're not sure what's causing this or why this is happening, but if things don't improve or continue to get worse, then do contact your GP as they will be able to investigate and let you know if this is any cause for concern.
Hopefully some of our members will be along soon to share their experiences and advice but in the meantime, we're thinking of you Joey and will have our fingers crossed everything will be o.k.
Kind regards,

Hi
What your experiencing is very similar to what I went through 2 years ago. I didn't have any other symptoms apart from longer periods and intermittent bleeding.
I had a telephone consultation with gp and I expected her to say start of menopause, but she said it didn't sound like it and I was referred for 2ww ultrasound.
In my case it was a thickened endometrium which led to a hysteroscopy where a growth/polyp was found on my uterus and removed. This was benign and I was 44 at the time.
From my own experience if I were you I would make a app to speak to a gp and then go from there.
Hopefully it's nothing to worry about
Take care
