Hello all... I'm coming here simply because I'm at a complete loss as to what to do anymore. My apologies for the incoming very long post!
To begin, I've not been diagnosed with cancer. I've had ongoing and worsening "vague" symptoms for the past 8 to 9 months. I'm a 37yo male. No family history of cancer and considered low risk.
- frequent abdominal pains (some days worse but occurs every day now) they feel like a gnawing pain that ranges from just below left ribs to near bellybutton area.. and sometimes sharp. Dull constant pain has now reached my left shoulder blade and around the middle back. These pains are every day and usually for most of the day.
- terrible fatigue and weakness often now
- a frequent feeling of being very unwell
- loss of appetite and weight
- vertigo and dizziness
- Constipation and diarrhoea (usually constipated for a few days and then a couple days of diarrhoea)
- indigestion for a couple years and told I had IBS last summer
- worsening dysphagia
- issues with digestion
- occasionally vomiting
The following are the tests that have been completed in the last 8 or 9 months:
- multiple blood tests - FBC total of 5/clotting/amylase/psa/immune diseases/diabetes tests/and more. All show normal
- Urine and stool tests all normal (had at least 5 completed)
- colonoscopy - two sessile polyps were removed
- endoscopy - gastritis and small sliding hiatal hernia
- abdominal ultrasound - normal
- Ct scan - chest/abdomen/pelvis with contrast was normal
All this being done and I'm no better off. I've just become more unwell, more fatigued... More everything to be honest. I've had more than 35 GP appointments and was sent to A&E last autumn 5 times... I'm just sick of it but at a loss as to what I can do. If any of this resonates with anyone here.... I'm all ears.
