Eye lid cancer

Hi 

I'm worried I could have eyelid cancer, the GP have wanted me to go to the ey hospital A&E but I've asked just got a referral and was told this takes weeks but they photographed under my eyelid and with my eye open and closed, is this normal? I feel like they aren't taking me seriously

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's good to hear you have a referral in place - this will mean you will get the answers you need, and hopefully without too much of a wait.

    It is normal for referrals to take several weeks. Hopefully your doctor gave you an idea of approximate timescales to expect to wait. Beyond this you can always call the hospital to chase or to find out more if needed.
