I am feeling quite worried about the possibility of having IBC. I am 25 and gave birth to my second son 5 weeks ago. My right breast has had a red patch for a few weeks with what looks like dimpling on one side. Today my breast feels quite itchy and enlarged, I do feel like there is swelling under my armpit also. Since having my son I have noticed my areola is much bigger on my right side and also darker around the edge. I am also breastfeeding so I understand there are very similar symptoms between mastitis and IBC but have no signs of a blocked duct.

I would appreciate some thoughts on this and whether I should go to my GP.
