Breast clinic referral

So for the past  few weeks I have been experiencing pain in my right breast, seen gp today, who examined me and said area of lumpiness on outer top.  She seems to think it is hormone related, as ar peri menopausal age

Has asked me to change from combined pill to mini pill because I'm ova 40, so have appt for that tomo

She has referred me any way to the breast clinic, hopefully the lumpiness could just be cysts or fibrodenomas, I've made myself sore prodding and poking at it.

    Good luck with the breast clinic. I've been a couple of times over last few years for what's turned out to be benign cysts and non-lactating mastitis, that one was interesting as they couldn't explain what had caused it but all benign and no breast problems in the last few years and I'm in my 40s

    Thanks for replying, I'm keeping everything crossed for a good result from the breast clinic, however I do keep visiting the what if's ?

    but no one will know until my appt on the  13th May, and it's only 1 week to wait so cannot complain.
