Endometrial Hyperplasia/ Awaiting biopsy

Hi all, 

I have just ahd a bit of a shock at a internal scan to check on an ovarian cyst. They found my endometrial lining is 21.3mm and appears thick and cystic, only 6 weeks ago it was 8.2mm. I am only 27 years old, never had children. I do have bad PCOS and Endometriosis. They tried to do a biopsy there and then but i was alone and terrified so they have decided to do it under GA in 11 days. I am spiralling in my mind and conviced it is cancer due to what i have been reading. Just looking for reassurance.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're waiting on a biopsy following a recent ultrasound. it's understandable that you're feeling anxious about what may be responsible for your symptoms. 

    Many people find this period of waiting and uncertainty to be difficult. It can help to talk to someone about your concerns and how you're feeling and I wonder if you might find it beneficial to chat with one of our nurses.
