17yo, left nipple inverted

I recently(in the past few weeks)discovered that my left nipple has inverted itself when stimulated(when not, it sticks out by a small amount), while the right sticks out completely, like normal.

I haven't kept tabs on my breasts through my life, so I can't say if it's always been like this. I have a small amount of pain but it's nowhere near the nipple, which I believe is due to my binder(I am Trans). There's no discharge, or showing symptoms to cancer, but breast cancer has ran in my family.

I need second opinion incase I am over thinking this, and it's not cancer whatsoever. As said I am 17, so maybe it's puberty, may not I dunno.

Cheers for any help/advice.

  • Hello Pounce,

The best thing to do is to go and see your doctor, so I hope you book an appointment soon. When you’re worried that you may have cancer, it can be natural to overthink, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better. And the only person that can advise you is your doctor.

    I hope this is helpful,

    Best wishes,
