Hi, I got my "results" letter yesterday 3 weeks after my first LLETZ which just says there was "no evidence of pre cancer or cancer, just inflammation" after histology result which is obviously great but I am a bit confused!
I was given a LLETZ because the biopsy taken at the colposcopy I had back in December allegedly showed precancerous CIN 2-3 cells.
Now after the LLETZ it says there is no evidence of pre cancer? Does that mean they've removed the precancerous cells or does it just mean they were wrong in the colposcopy and it wasn't pre cancer?
Is it supposed to say they have removed HPV?
It's just very vague and I don't understand. Why did I have a LLETZ if it was just inflammation?
So many questions. Has anybody else had this?
