Cervical and endometrial biopsy results

Hi 

I rang the consultants secretary today after waiting 5 weeks for results, she read me the letter that was sent out yesterday it said both benign thankfully and will discuss my results in a follow-up appointment, but she went on to say she wants the consultant to re check the results and she'll ring me back so I'm now panicking has this happened to anyone else please  .

    I'm a little unsure why the secretary said that she wants the Consultant to recheck the results but I can absolutely understand why this has left you feeling worried. 

    I'd certainly give her a call again tomorrow and ask for some clarity. Explain that her comment has left you feeling very anxious all weekend and that you'd like some reassurance. 

    I hope you have some clear answers soon.
