Hi , im New too .  From what I've experienced over the last few months and what they said  without a biopsy they can't say 100%  if it is cancer .    They haven't done a biopsy on mine we are going straight for surgery .  Mine is 2.1cm covering 2 lobes . 
I've been told it's been caught early . 
This waiting game feels so long . So what i do is I only think about the next stage of the process .  I do that process then I move onto the next , this way I can feel as normal as possible .    Hopefully you'll get a date for your scans soon and get some answers   I had mine within 2 weeks of seeing the consultant .look after yourself .
