I found a lump a couple of weeks ago and had my GP appointment last Wednesday, I've been given the standard urgent referral thats supposed to be 2 weeks, I called the breast clinic and they said that the wait is closer to 5 / 6 weeks.

My anxiety is through the roof. 

My lump is new, large grape sized and appeared out of nowhere. 

It feels like its getting bigger but not sure if its paranoia. 

Anyone else with such a long wait to be seen? 

Im 42 have a 9 year old son, my husband (his father) died 3 years ago and I'm terrified of him being left alone - I'm going through waves of calm and then panic..
