I have been referred  too today for a lump. 

I have been before to the clinic all was ok but lump feels different this time. 

My GP booked me an appointment there and then for 25th so not long away. She said didn't feel alarming but they can't really tell .

I had breast cancer last July I no the worry you are going through however I'm fully back to normal life now like it never happened 

just to tell you not all Brest lumps turn out to be cancer only 2 in ten breast clinic appointments turn out bad news .

I know all the medical things it could and couldn't be google is great for that. But I just feel numb with fear. Worried how long this lump has been there and I can imagine getting the worst news.

how long before you get seen ? 
 

for me I never felt any lump just a heaviness so I went for a check and so lucky I did

One of my work colleagues found a lump last Monday she was so beside herself and couldn't wait she booked a private clinic for Friday and it was a cyst but was seen in 4 days she did pay £500 but worth it

I am waiting for an appointment. The GP said they would note my health anxiety on the referral which may speed things up.

Trying to resist the urge to prod and poke. How long did it take for you to get your results after being seen? Xx

I went private 

so on first appointment I was told it was suspicious and 7 days later it was confirmed 

I think nhs is 2 to 3 week wait for results

Have you got a private medical at work or anything ? 
I sent private but didn't pay as my insurance coveted it all and my operations

At the clinic , it's like a one stop shop where you see a consultant,  have a mammogram and an ultrasound.  I didn't have a biopsy previously but others were having them too. Then you go back to rhe consultant. Very efficient,  lots of people in the same boat but of course a bit scary
