Hi l have had bilateral complex overian cysts 6cm and 4cm l had a two week wait appointment with gynaecology oncology. Further tests and surgery that took 4 1/2 hrs due to extensive adhesions due to previous surgery. But the multiple biopsies were benign. I am also post menopausal l had hysterectomy at 37, but l had my overies left to prevent early menopause. They should have been dormant and not really visible on scans. 
l hope you get an early appointment and know what is happening soon
