I have been in the same very scared terrified petrified position as you (although not with young children, and I am post-menopausal, but I live alone and have two dogs who rely on me) and my symptoms started last November. I have just come through a keyhole total hysterectomy with a diagnosis of Grade 2 endometrial cancer but even after several months of symptoms, my surgeon was very confident that the surgery will have eradicated the cancer and there is only the very slight possibility of add-on radiotherapy for a "just in case" preventative reason. 

My lining was 27mm. However, with your background of clear biopsies on your pre-menopausal thickened lining, along with your age, it's well possible that this is some kind of peri-menopausal symptom. A few years ago I had something similar aftrer I had finished my periods for a while, and it turned out to be what they call a "last hurrah" from the ovaries. 

I have been one of the most terrified patients you could ever imagine these last few months! But I have realised that even with an actual cancer diagnosis, my chances of a cure and many more years are frankly excellent. And from the details you give of yourself,  there are so many other reasons for your symptoms, other than cancer. 

Think positive and happy thoughts when undergoing the ultrasound - I know it's easier said than done, believe me! but, try it anyway! 

Thinking of you because I honestly do know the fear you are going through. If you can, try using some calming techniques to help your fear, such as walking in the sunshine, listening to your favourite music, perhaps going out for a meal with a good friend or going shopping and treating yourself to something nice. I have not held back on "spoiling myself" since I started this journey, and have realised how 'dangerous' it is to be sitting at home post-surgery with Amazon at my fingertips!! lol but it is doing me so much good!
