Hi. After a visit to my GP this morning, she has said that a small 2-3mm skin coloured bump on my forehead may be a BCC.

She was fairly dismissive, and almost didn't refer me as she was talking about how small it is and how big a scar could be. I have asked for a referral however, which she is processing, but she implied it would take ages as BCCs aren't classed as urgent.
 

My biggest concern is that I have had this mark for 9+ years and it hasn't really changed, so I am terrified that all of the growth has happened under the skin surface in that time. Also frustrated, as I actually had the same mark checked by a different doctor under a microscope last year and was told it was fine.

I am really anxious about this, as I am already super vigilant about my skin. And so worried that I have left it so long. Would really value any advice.
