Just that really, I was asked multiple times by the radiographer and the Dr I saw after, is this in preparation for something?

No one has asked me either Hun. Don't know what that's about. X
Yes, I was asked this question and it was recorded in my notes. I believe they consider lump size in relation to breast size when planning treatment. For example, a large lump in a small breast would usually mean a mastectomy as they would have to remove the lump and a clear margin, whereas a smaller lump in a large breast could be removed with a lumpectomy. That's my understanding anyway. Amy x
Think that's right.
My doctor knew my size without asking!! He's obviously an expert in sizing . Got to laugh!
Hi Toottoot,
I wasn't asked this until just before I went for surgery. This was so that they could give me a similar sized prosthesis to my natural breast. However, don't panic, not everyone needs a prosthesis and I agree with Amy's take on this, as the more likely ereason.
Kind regards,
