Hi Emma, sorry to hear you have had these tests and still waiting for results. I wouldn't read anything into how long it's taking. The labs may just be very busy and the Easter break probably hasn't helped. I'm sure they will contact you as soon as the results are back. I waited just over 2 weeks for breast biopsy results, but more like 6 weeks for a mole biopsy results. I do hope and pray it's nothing sinister in your case. Take care, Amy x
I had my hysteroscopy 2 weeks ago. I don't know what's happening and it's scary. I had breast cancer 5 years ago and have been on tamoxifen since, I have been infertile and have no children , I'm type 2 Diabetic on insulin. My anxiety is when I went for my trans vag scan they just said it's nothing but endometrium is "only slightly thick" but cos of tamoxifen they'd need to look into it.
I went for hysteroscopy but the doctor said there was enlarged uterus shown on scan too. I had hysteroscopy and biopsy and when I asked how it looked, doctor said it's looking fine but the lab results need to come back.. I just have cramps and heaviness but no bleeding.
I'm here waiting .. it's horrible. I've been here before when a mammogram started off a string of things.
I totally get how your feeling. Time is not passing and I'm resorting to swinging between good news as it's not been treated urgently or can you still get bad news ? In breast cancer there was news almost every other day after a test or investigation but this is just silence.
4 weeks must have been hard.. sending you a hug.. try to do things you really enjoy.. the waiting is nerve wracking. I hope it's good news..
