3 weeks still waiting for results

Hi All, had a colonoscopy 3 weeks ago showing a 5cm polyp/lump 4 lots of biopsies taken. 6 days later had MRI then week later a CT scan. The hospital had an MDT meeting last Thursday and now because of the bank holiday still no news. I have telephoned the secretary today for any updates who says it's been relisted to a Gastroenterologist. Does anyone know why and when I should hear something? Thankyou x

Hi Jjsu, I can't help but din't want to read and run. I'm also waiting for results but have an appt for the 20th so I know I have 9 more days to go....hopefully you will hear back today...

Thankyou for taking the time to reply. Hopefully all goes well for you on the 20th. It's the waiting that's killing me. Making me anxious and stressed.

Hi,
I'm now on week 5 of waiting after a biopsy taken during an endoscopy and also awaiting an appointment for a colonoscopy after a positive qfit test. The waiting is awful isn't it? I hope you get your results soon and that it's nothing sinister. Sending you lots of love as I know how bad the anxiety is.

Omg 5 weeks! I'm going out my head with waiting 3 weeks. I see why your anxious too. Because I've had all the tests scans and mdt meeting and know they have my results why are they not telling me anything, that's what makes me so stressed. Thinking of you for when you have your colonoscopy, it wasn't as bad as I thought I'd be. Although I was sedated. Positive thoughts xx
