Does anyone have any advice on how to reduce scarring after mole removal/wide local excision? I have had 2 moles removed last year, one on my neck and one on my upper back (Stage 1 Melanoma) which resulted in wide local excisions on both. luckily, margins came back clear. Both scars are hypertrophic so having steroid injections regularly. My Dermatologist was very concerned about a mole on my face so I am having a full excision next week and I am so worried about the scarring, especially being on my face. Is there anything I can do to help heal better? Thanks in advance :)
