thanks so much for your reply. I think I overthink everything because like you,I was a nurse. I was reading your situation and my heart goes out to you, it is a scary time. I do feel lucky as I have a cancer support centre near me that I can self refer to. they are a brilliant charity, offering counselling, massage, aromatherapy and more. I am going to call them tomorrow. I really dont want to do this by myself and will be very grateful to them.

It must be difficult waiting for surgery as it is difficult enough waiting for a doctors appointment. A doctors strike is very radical but it is bizarre that every Government underpays and overworks doctors until it becomes a health risk.

Thats wonderful having help so close by Halofan, I am sure it will be invaluable for you. And of course this site has been invaluable to read and gain insite into what we are to expect.

Lets change our focus on trying to enjoy life :) x

I look at my beautiful old king charles cavalier , shes 13 now and a bit doddery, and i lavish her with attention and treats. watching her tail wagging gives me great pleasure haha , its the little things.

Hopefully I only have 2weeks to wait.

I have just gone through surgery and radiotherapy for breast cancer   So a different typ of cancer. But cancer all the same.   I know what you mean re the waiting.   It's hard not to worry but you have to try.  Xx
