Hi Everyone,

I know how hugely stressful and traumatic it can be when you hear your CA125 is abnormal and raised, especially post menopausal, as the causes always seem to be more worrying. The word cancer alone in the name of the test is enough to cause sleepless nights and it certainly did for me.

When my test came back I was told it was high and that it could be diverticulitus, which I had just had or possibly a cyst on the ovary. She redid the blood test, incase it had been the infection. 

Today I got the best news and was told my bloods were normal. Thankfully it had obviously been the sickness. So when you read it can be linked to benign causes,it absolutely can and I am proof of that.

I hope this will help many of you who are struggling and waiting, if it even gives you a glimmer of hope, it might help.
