Hi everyone
I am a 30 year old female who is relatively fit and healthy or so I thought
it all started in September last year where I developed a persistent cough after having covid in the May time and it has never gone away. It's always worse in the morning and at night it's quite chesty in the morning but throughout the day it's a dry cough. I pushed this under the rug for the longest time when I started to notice things gradually get worse. I developed a wheezing where it would last for up to 20 mins and I felt like my chest was super tight and it was causing me to be breathless. These come and go and seem to happen once or twice a month. I have constant itching. Itching on my hands, feet, lower legs, scalp, chest and arms ( this has been since September too) no obvious rash but I've drawn blood and made marks on my skin from the constant scratching. I get chest pains in the left side that come and go everyday. Unexplained bruising on my legs mainly my thighs. I get so tired so easily and even if I sleep through the night I wake up still just as tired. My heart sometimes feels like it's doing a triple beat which makes me feel light headed and dizzy. I have now developed a pea sized moveable hard lump on the left side of my neck. No weight loss but I haven't exactly gained weight either. I haven't had night sweats but have woken up clammy and hot previously. When I drink alcohol I get pains in my jaw and shoulder
I have been to the doctor and he gave me an inhaler which sometimes eases the tightness in my chest. He also sent me for blood tests where I had one abnormal result for high CRP which I have another appointment booked to speak to him about next week. I also went for a chest X-ray on Thursday so I'm just awaiting the results from that as it's the Easter weekend I won't know until Wednesday they said.
the waiting is really killing me and I just want to feel less alone and have someone to talk to who perhaps has been through similar or is going through it too
thank you for reading this far and I hope you are well
