You did really well to have this small rubbery lump checked and it's good that they are being thorough and have referred you to be seen at the breast clinic. It's good news that the lump seems to have disappeared since but it's important to still keep the appointment and to mention to them that you definitely felt a lump there and that you now have this indent. 

Try not to worry too much though as there are so many things that could have caused this but it's always best to have it checked properly for peace of mind.

It's normal to be anxious but as mentioned on the information page on what to expect at the breast clinic, it is important to remember that most people who are referred to a breast clinic do not have breast cancer.
