Worried - breast lump

Hi,

I recently found a lump in my left breast on Friday. Went to the doctor on Monday who said she didn't think it was anything sinister, then over the last few days it has become sore. I went to the breast clinic yesterday and the doctor examined me and said he wasn't concerned so he sent me for an ultrasound with the consultant. She said she didn't know what it was. She took 4 biopsies and just said it was a hard lump and wasn't sure if it was a fibroedanoma or a cancer. Since then I have been worrying myself sick.
Does anyone else have a similar lump that has randomly appeared and is quite sore to touch that turned out to be benign?

Also, this is a wonderful forum and I'm glad there is somewhere for us ladies to chat about these things so thank you x

    Hi, I've just been referred to the Breast clinic too so waiting for an appointment. I saw GP yesterday.

    Since then, I've been having stabbing pains near the armpit in that breast. Have you experienced this at all? 

    I hope it is all clear for you but I know it's a worrying time. I've been through previous urgent referrals for something else. x

    Hi, 

    so my pain is only when I press on the lump. I haven't really noticed any stabbing pains or anything like that.

    it is abit tender now from the biopsy but they did say it was to be expected.

    I hope everything goes ok for you to my love and we can all get through this worrying time together x

    And you too. Maybe we can keep each other posted. I've not told anyone about this even my mum as last time she went and told anyone and everyone about my health issues and I don't want that to happen again so it's nice to be able to talk to people who understand on here. xx

    Absolutely! We can definitely chat and help each other through this.

    I will keep you updated on any new developments with my results and if you want to you can do the same.

    let's agree to be in a positive mind set until we have our results and try to put it to the back of our minds over the Easter holiday. I will keep everything crossed for the both of us and we will get through this together x
