Hello, I'm so sorry reading your message about such a long wait for your biopsy results. I feel this is disgraceful.

Have you had a word with your GP about the long wait and that's if there's anything you can do about it? 

Have you contacted people like the consultants secretary or maybe even contact PALS as they could be a good source of information and support for you. 

It may even be worth writing to your MP; it is surprising how quickly thinvs can get done when an MP is involved. 

I hope you get your results soon please let us know. I'll be thinking about you as Ive, had the same In the past and I'm going through similar again now so I know how it can affects your mental health; please take care of yourself and make sure you tell people to try and keep your mental health stable for stop good look.

I had a vaginal cervical and vulva biopsies all taken 3 days ago and they told me it would be a 4 to 6 week wait for results im also 31 with 3 young kids so I understand how mentally draining this is its doing my head in not knowing how bad it is !! 

I am sorry to read what a bad time you are having. 
I am also waiting - my results post breast re-excision are due 7 weeks post surgery.  I feel like I have done very little but wait for results since last August when abnormality picked up on mammogram (short respites when waiting for surgery instead ).  

I have got better at it though. Basically my tips would be, keep yourself as busy as you can (hard when you feel unwell).  I have found light books and podcasts work well.  Try and be social. Be strict with yourself and give yourself a talking to when you are thinking negatively.  Get fresh air and gentle exercise - I try to walk every day even if just a little.  Keep a journal of positive things and things you look forward to doing when you are better. Treat yourself kindly - candles, bath. Play cheerful music - sing or dance to it.  I literally have a list of things written in my journal to remind myself what to do when spinning out. 
I general I try and stay off the forums too - doesn't usually make me feel better as the ratio of good to sad stories is not good ...

Thats awful, im so sorry you're having to wait so long, I'm also a mum and currently waiting for tests and results and can totally relate to how draining and consuming it is, 16 weeks is crazy. I can't offer any help I'm afraid just wanted you to know that I sympathise and I really hope that it won't actually be that long. Perhaps they say 16 weeks as that's how long they take to get back to people who's results are favourable, perhaps if they find something they contact the person much more quickly? All I can say is keep insisting, surely they realise that 16 weeks is agonisingly long. Hugs,
