Hello.
I've had lots of tests concerning my pancreas.
I remember after my ct scan I had to have a endoscopy. And then was test after test.
But that doesn't mean you will.
I hope everything is good for you x
Hi,
Have had bowel issues, Posive FIT.
Had a C T scan of my Bowel. After 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything, so contacted my Consultants Secretary. She informed my they are " behind" with test results etc.
2 days later, I received a phone call from the Endoscopy department informing me that I needed an Endoscopy because during the C T scan they couldn't see part of my Colon.
Very concerned because the lady said I was high priority. Endoscopy due on the 20th April.
Still not had a letter/ phone call from the Consultant.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thank you
Yes a few times. Last year after my mrcp scan=6 weeks.
And as recently as last month cervical biopsy =5 weeks I had to chase as was told 2-3.
And its not always no news is good news anymore because of all the backlogs
Hi
Thank you for the response, I've had a endoscopy last year before I was diagnosed with a pancreatic insufficiency this year, I was sent for a ct scan 2 weeks after my diagnosis and after my scan they scan technician said are protocol says you need a MRI scan so we have referred you for one so I'm so worried.
I totally understand... I was scared witless.. had 2 ct scans.
A endoscopy.
A EUS.
MRCP and another in June..
I'm being monitored.
I'm dreading it I'm so claustrophobic
When things first started happening I wouldn't get out of bed.. I couldn't deal with anything.
Your not on your own at all. X
If like me your claustrophobic then I advise a eye mask and something like diazapan to calm you
