I had my CT scan of my pancreas 5 days ago and I've just received a appointment letter for the results for in May of it was bad news would I be told sooner?
Had a C T scan of my Bowel. After 4 weeks I hadn't heard anything, so contacted my Consultants Secretary. She informed my they are " behind" with test results etc.
2 days later, I received a phone call from the Endoscopy department informing me that I needed an Endoscopy because during the C T scan they couldn't see part of my Colon.
Very concerned because the lady said I was high priority. Endoscopy due on the 20th April.
Still not had a letter/ phone call from the Consultant. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you
Hi Thank you for the response, I've had a endoscopy last year before I was diagnosed with a pancreatic insufficiency this year, I was sent for a ct scan 2 weeks after my diagnosis and after my scan they scan technician said are protocol says you need a MRI scan so we have referred you for one so I'm so worried.
