Hi Bexx I wanted to wish you good luck for your appointment this afternoon. I'm currently waiting on results for tests to find out if the dermoid cyst they found incidentally during an US for fibroids, or if anything else is causing my CA 125 to be 265. The waiting for appointments is awful and like you I feel I've had to put my big girl pants on and be brave and positive for the sake of my family. I hope they can offer you some reassurance

Just got to bed and was going to message you about your appointment. 
I spoke to the doctor this afternoon, she saw me an hour later, examined the lump, didn't appear overly concerned. I asked to be referred for a mammogram, which she has done and she's arranging for an ultra sound of the lump.

I'm ok thanks Dr didn't have any answers but he's sorted blood tests which will hopefully shed some light or reassure me.

Still not sure how I feel to be honest, it felt good to actually see a doctor and to get things moving. I had a text yesterday evening to bring forward my mammogram, so, that feels like another step to sussing this out.

How are you? How do you feel after seeing your doctor?

You sound so much better hopefully you slept last night?!  Doesn't help being shattered does it that first night we were chatting was horrendous I didn't close my eyes.

I was awake early found a cancellation so bloods done this morning see what they show.  Dr was ok, as you say it's reassuring to be examined but I'll feel better when the blood tests come back and I know what's going on in there.

Good that your appointment was brought forward and nice to hear you sound brighter .

I have  an appointment next week at the breast clinic, involving a mammogram, ultra sound and examination. 
I've seen the Doctor again, she checked the lump, which hasn't grown. 
I'm trying not to obsess about it, easier said than done.
