Breast Clinic Tomorrow

Hello, I'm 24 and have an appointment tomorrow at the breast clinic.

I went to the GP a couple weeks ago after noticing a lump in my breast, on the bottom half. It moves about and the GP said it feels "like a column" so I guess long? She told me she isn't feeling anything concerning but still would like to refer me to the clinic. It's sore around my period but doesn't go away.

My appt is at 2pm tomorrow and I feel like I can't breathe- we have just had a recent diagnosis of cancer (not BC) in the family so we're already stressed out. I'm so so scared of them telling me it's something scary - I don't know how I would cope.

I feel selfish even typing this, reading some of the stories these wonderfully brave people have been through. There's no real point to my post- I'm just really frightened. ️

  • Hi Lara,

Thank you for your reply; it's such a scary time - even though the odds are in my favour, I have really worked myself up about it this evening! No idea how I'm going to work a normal shift tomorrow morning!

I will let you know how I get on either way, just feels like time is going so slow waiting to find out what it is. ️

    Thank you,

    Harley xx
