WOMB BIOPSY WITH NO PREVIOUS SCANS ??

Hi Everyone

Please bear with me, Im extremely anxious, as I have GAD.

Recently had a Cervical Colposcopy, as Smear showed CIN3.

During the Colposcopy, she also did a Womb lining biopsy.

I've not had any previous tests, or scans, regarding my womb.

Would there be a particular reason, why she did this biopsy ??

Hi EM4444,
I can understand this would be concerning and I know the uncertainty can be difficult to deal with. I'm not too sure why specific tests would have been done - perhaps it was a case of being thorough in getting all the required information.
