Hey guys, I'm freaking out a little. So back in Feb I had a brain MRI with contrast (I have a CSF leak at the moment). Not long after the scan I noticed my right armpit has swollen. I put this down to my body reacting to the contrast as it was my right arm it went in to. Fast forward 5 weeks and it's still swollen, although I can't feel anything within the swelling. Anyway, 2 nights ago I noticed my right breast has a small dent on the underside. I only caught glimpse of it in the mirror after a bath, the light reflection highlighted it. I can't feel any lumps etc. Both breasts are sore at the moment (I don't have periods so not sure if it's just supposed to be that time or not) ... I seen a male doctor couple days ago, he brushed me off as he couldn't see the dent in person, nor on the photo which I find hard to believe. He also said my swollen armpit is because I'm right handed !?

I left the office in tears. I went back yesterday and seen an advanced nurse and she thankfully did take me seriously she said she could see it although it is very slight and that was enough for her. So I'm off to the breast clinic on Tuesday coming! I'm scared. I have health anxiety as it is. I don't know of any cancer history within my family. Both of my nanas I don't think had anything, my mum died at 48 so I don't know if she was to, and my sister died at 27 so again no clue there either. I've tried to find reassurance online that this dent could be something completely normal but everything links dents with cancer so that's not helped at all. I have put a little bit of weight on recently (not noticeable to others but noticeable to me). I'm also scared that if the scan shows nothing, that they may miss something. Like something deep. It's going to be a long week.
