My coworker was telling me that an ultrasound showed she had a large mass in her liver with legions and also a mass in her uterus ( which they think was fibroids) it was found during an ultra sound on her thyroid when she said she had some bloating they checked other areas.  They said she needed a CT scan but she never followed up.  Now 7 years later she doesn't have any other symptoms.  Just the occasional bloating.  Her period has become irregular but that is probably from peri menopause.  Can you have cancer and have no pain or symptoms for 7 years (or it could be more, they only found it 7 years ago).  Or are they benign masses and would have caused pain by now if they weren't?
