Biopsy Results

Hi, 

 

I have been experinecing bleeding since December every day. I have PCOS however this is so not normal for me. I have been to the doctors, scans normal but I pushed for it be looked into further due to loosing my mum at a young age to Cervical Cancer. 

 

I had a biopsy taken over the weekend and I have a follow up call with the results on the 27th of March. I keep telling myself it wont be bad news over the phone and surely if something was there my appointment would be earlier right?

 

I only had my biopsy on Saturday

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. It is quite common to wait a couple of weeks or so for biopsy results. Unfortunately it's never possible to predict what might be said, either in relation to the amount of time before finding out or whether it is done in person or over the phone.

    The uncertainty and waiting for information is never easy. While waiting try to take things a day at a time and focus on keeping yourself busy where possible, to help keep your mind off any worries.
