i had laparoscopy 2 days ago and the surgeon told me they will write to me with the result of the biopsy but she couldn't tell me how long it will take. 
i hope you get your results soon and they come with positive news xx

Hi Naomi, sorry to hear you are anxious about your results and that's normal and to be expected. I've been there! Wait times will depend on what area you are in and how busy the labs are. Then the team looking after you have to meet to check the results before they call you. You said it: alone at home with time on your hands. I know it's hard but try to keep busy - especially taking walks outdoors if you are up to it after your surgery will do wonders for your well-being. Watch a feel-good film, or go for a mooch around the shops? Hang in there, lovely. Wishing you all the very best for a good outcome. xx

I take a walk every day, have done since my BC diagnosis. It's my medicine, along with chemo (finished) and imminent surgery! Would love to know how you get on xx

Me! Over 4 weeks.

I'm so anxious. I rang last Thursday 4 week mark. Couldn't really understand what she said but thar she'd send then I'm still waiting.

gosh, that is a long time to be waiting but, as you said, I think they would have been in touch sooner if they needed to see you. 
In answer to your question about pain. The pain I had from the cyst has gone but I do still have an occasional ache on that side. I'm only two weeks on from my op, so still quite bruised but the main pain is gone. Might be worth raising it with the doctor or your consultant if you are worried. Hope you get your results soon, fingers and toes crossed for you x
