Hey, wondered how long people have had to wait for Biopsy results after a partial nephrectomy. Had a partial nephrectomy on Feb 14th was told first of all there was a 50% chance it was cancer, not sure if that got re graded when they took it out as the day after surgery the kidney cancer staff nurse said there is a 20% chance of it not being cancer. I was a bit all over the place and in a lot of pain so I didnt say anything in return or push for any explanation as to how it had dropped 30%!.

Was told biopsy results would be ready in 3 weeks, day of appointment (telephone appointment) it got cancelled results not back, was rescheduled for tomorrow 4 weeks after op for results,just got a phone call to say still not in, don't know how long they will be and they will try for next week ( week 5).waiting im finding out is draining  me emotionally!.

Also did anybody that has had a partial nephrectomy have a follow up appointment  to see actually someone to check everything is OK after surgery?.
