I found it extremely painful it took my breathe away but that doesn't meen it will be the same for you like you say it has to be done you need to know what's going on .luckily you'll be one of the ones who finds it ok ,afterwards she was able to tell me she hadn't found anything worrying which was such a relief ,

Thank you I was told to take painkillers  before hand paracetamol  I have gabapentin  which ate stronger so might take those instead

Yes I took painkillers I don't know if it helped or not ,I had a local anathsetic to numb the cervix as well,you will get plenty of encouragement from the nurses in the room with you ,they were so lovely and kept me going and asked if I wanted to stop but I just wanted it over rather than go through it again .I hope it goes alright for you .

Did the local anesthetic  hurt as they inject it don't they I'm worried  before I have it done nut it has to be done

To be honest no it didn't ,but I was scared when she told me that's what she was doing ,but I didn't feel it .

Did they think yours was cancerous they said that on my dr notes that's why I'm worried 

After initial blood tests at my GP's I had a phone call to say the CA125 was elevated and it was a marker for Ovarian cancer and that he'd already set the ball rolling for me to have a hysteroscopy and a colonoscopy ,I was crying so much on the phone I could hardly speak ,but I calmed down went for the hysteroscopy one day and the day after I had the colonoscopy, they took biopsies and removed a polyp and said I also had diverticulitus but more or less said after each op that there was nothing nasty in there so it put my mind at ease while waiting for the results of biopsies which were fine .

I had a pain in my groin which they said is an inguinal hernia that's when they sent me for ultrasound scans that showed a thick endrometrum anti say lymph node reactive that's why I'm having the hystroscopy I also have diverticulosis 

  its much more likely to be something harmless ,let us know how you get on .
