I'll start with a back story. For years I've suffered bowl and digestinal issues such as gluten intolerance, severe acid reflicx and IBS symptoms. I've always had checks and nothing has ever been said as a definitive answer.
So as times have gone on my symptoms have got worse. I have chronic fatigue daily, I use the bathroom for bowl movements from 5 to 10 times daily, and it flips from water to solids, I have pain continuously between my shoulder blades and in my right abdomen. I am regularly nauseous and have sweats. I can also struggle to gain weight, or I lose it fast without trying.
I finally had an ultrasound and the radiographer said they found one polyp that was 7mm. This was on February 6th this year, fast forward to today and my doctors did a call back, and I actually have multiple (can see more than 4) polyps and one is at least 10mm in size. The doctor was concerned and has made an urgent referral for me but has not give any further information.
I'm worried as I've not googled stuff, but being of a sports and health science background, I've done some peer reviewed research and found I could be at a high risk of cancer due to the size and amount of polyps I have.
I cannot find any information, or forums with people who have similar experiences to me. I'm also worried because the more time has gone on, the more unwell I have become and more continual the symptoms are becoming.
Any advice to help ease my brain, I'm 37yrs old with a large young family, I've lost 6 close relatives to cancer in recent years which inc my mum in 2019, and my nanna only last week. I'm usually very calm about stuff, but this is frying my head.
