Moveable lump in breast - waiting for referral

Hello,

Noticed a moveable lump in my breast went to doctor. They suggested it might go away on its own.
I am waiting on a referral and was told approx 3 weeks for this. The hospital within my trust wrote to explain thst they couldn't see me due to staff shortages and were transferring me to another trust.

That was 2 weeks ago and since then have had new symptoms:

1. lumps that feel like walnuts / small peas within breasts that are moveable.

2. swollen lymph nodes near arm pit, pain in armpit and armpit feels tender.

I'm staying off Dr Google but just curious has anyone else had these symptoms?

  • Welcome to the forum Purple_010 although I'm sorry to hear about the lump you've found and that you've had to be transferred to another trust due to staff shortages.

This must be very frustrating but hopefully the new trust will be in touch soon with a date for your referral.

Many of our members have found themselves in similar situations so you are not alone and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and advice.

In the meantime, we're thinking of you Purple_010 and wishing you all the best with your appointment when the time comes.

    Kind regards,
