I am sorry to hear you ended up in hospital with abdominal pain last night. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your gastroenterology appointment. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to be seen.

I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be as there are so many things other than cancer which could be causing these symptoms. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. There are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news.

I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

sorry for such late reply still no answers as such except i have fatty liver aka non alcoholic liver disease but they testing again for cancer got wait 2 weeks for results x will update when tests come back x

finally tests have started negative fit test & camera's on monday had polyps removed plus i have ulcers waiting on biopsy results so nervous gp referred me to Hospital Fast track referral for suspected colorectal cancer but was cancelled as already had colonoscopy appointment so don't know what happening 

Hi Shelle its good that things have started to happen at last ,you've had to wait a long time for answers and results ,its good you had a negative fit test ,I had a positive fit test but after Colonoscopy nothing serious was found ,I hope the same applies to you ,no doubt you had blood tests as well ,let us know how you get on when you hear more x
