Girlfriend stool sample doctor will ring after the weekend.

My girlfriend had a blood test and came back low platelets so the doctor asked for a stool sample. Anyway the receptionist phoned today and said the doctor will ring on Monday to discuss the stool sample. I'm worried that it's serious and my gf seems calm. Is this a bad sign? Thanks for any replies.

    Don't be alarmed by the fact the receptionist phoned to say the doctor will ring on Monday to discuss the stool sample - this may not be a sign of anything concerning. It's always good to have an opportunity to talk about results with the GP who I am sure will be able to shed some light on what is going on. 

    I hope the phone appointment goes well on Monday! Everything crossed for your girlfriend for good results.
