Gastroenterology appointment

Hi everyone

Ive been having horrible symptoms for the last three months. Almost constant nausea reflux bitter taste in month change in bowel habits weight loss and now I'm getting really severe headaches and a hot and throbbing sensation in my lower back. I have a gut feeling something isn't right and have a gastroenterology appointment this month. Has anyone had these symptoms and can talk me through what tests might be done? I really just want to find out what is wrong so I can feel better...I really miss feeling normal thanks in advance 

 

  • I'm really sorry to hear about the symptoms you've been contending with Kaz19. It sounds like things have been very tough over the last 3 months but hopefully your appointment with gastroenterology will get you a step closer to some answers and much needed peace of mind.

    Thank you for replying Steph. Things are no better here sadly. If anything more symptoms keep cropping up. I can now feel a lump in my lower back on the left side and I'm also having itchy tingling skin as well as a burning sensation in my legs and groin. I've had a CT scan and awaiting results from that. I am prepared for bad news from it purely based on how I've been feeling. It's a gut one that something is wrong :( I'm just so worried incase it's not treatable if it's worse case scenario. I'm a single parent to two primary school age children.
