About 4 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He had chemo and radiotherapy and his half way PET scan said he had no sign of cancer anymore so he didn't see a scan at the end of his treatment as the rest of the treatment would make sure it was all gone. His treatment finished about 7 months later and he's been fine since. 
 

A few weeks ago he had a 6 month check up on the phone with a doctor who he told he had lost some weight was having some other symptoms. The doctor booked him in for a PET scan a for few days later and he received a letter before the scan saying he had an appointment two weeks after the scan.
 

It has been 10 days since the PET scan now and I was just wondering what the wait times have been like for people, have you been called before an appointment or have people had to wait until the appointment? I don't want to convince myself that no news is good news? 
 
He hasn't called them as the appointment is on 14th March to discuss results, but he received this appointment before his scan.
