CA125 test high ovary not visible in ultrasound

Hi I had my bloods done nearly 3 weeks ago as I have pain in right side of pelvis and back, nausea, constant weeping and often vomiting after eating small amounts. I have had a trans vaginal scan today and my righ5 ovary was not visible. I am now being referred for a MRI. Has anyone else been in this position. I am 57 and have not had a period since 2010 following an ablation. I'm feeling so unwell at the moment

  • Welcome to the forum Margey although I'm really sorry to hear about the symptoms you've been contending with and for the worry this is understandably causing.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will be along soon to share their experiences and advice but in the meantime, if you'd like to talk any of this through with one of our nurses, they're just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

We're thinking of you Margey and wishing you all the best with your MRI. I hope you won't have to wait too long to have it done and the results are able to give you some much needed answers and peace of mind.

    Kind regards,
