Hi everyone, 

a few weeks ago I noticed swelling and tenderness in my left breast and a small lump on the top of my breast midway to the armpit. 
 

My GP couldn't feel the lump but did find another in the other breast but referred me to the breast clinic as a precaution due to family history. 
 

fast forward, I had my appointment this morning and the consultant said he couldn't really feel anything but send me for an ultrasound. 
 

I was told that there was a 15x13mm mass with shadowing on the left breast where I felt the lump and that I needed a biopsy as they wasn't certain on what it was. 
 

has anyone had shadowing on a breast ultrasound and had good news?
