Hi Mandy from what I've been reading on here it's neither one of the other , people have had good and bad news in person and also over the telephone. There is no way of knowing unfirtnatejy , friends in your hospital, area and how they Di things. I've not met my consultant dudnt even know I had one yet until I went fir a CT scan last week that they didn't do in the end because she spoke to him on the phone and I'm allergic to the iodene contrast dye so cluidnt proceed so making another appointment and arranging medication to take beforehand.

Mine is a breast care nurse that will be delivering my biopsy results when I met her at the breast clinic in the beginning, she said she epuid give my results over the phone, I said even if it's bad news, she said yes..I got a patient portal letter for TELEPHONE appointment coming up for biopsy results and it says your Breast care nurse has reviewed your condition and decided it's safe fir a telephone appointment. 

Unfortunately the torture goes on for many of us ! But seeing your consultant doesn't necessarily mean it's bad news xxhang in in there xxx
