My first post. 

I have been put on the two week urgent referrel cancer pathway. I have a Ca-125 of 51 and an esr level of 27. I have had a transvaginal ultrasound scan last year which was normal. My doctor sounded quite concerned and asked after my normal scan was I referred to a gynaecologist and I said no. I am not sure why my doctor is more worried now, but perhaps its because a number of symptoms and elevated markers that have no explanation or diagnosis.

My doctor has said if I cannot see a gynaecologist then she will send me for a CT scan. 

Has anyone experienced a situation like this?
